Description This quilt is a beauty. It has movement and color changes that give this quilt depth and movement. Alaska looks stunning in any color variation, perfect to customize to your taste. The pattern has been "Tuckerized" to provide ease of cutting and piecing with precision, using the Studio 180 Wedge Ruler. This quilt is made up of only 3 core blocks in different color variations. Choose your six fabrics and join us to make this traditional quilt with the "Tuckerized" simplified method. Description When you first see this quilt, most people don't see the spools. Once you see one, you can find them with ease. What makes this class go so fast is that we start with equal squares of a layer cake and background fabric. You will get a good amount of the blocks done ready to put 4 together to make the bigger block. Come join us for a fun day of sewing. Description The Hunter Star quilt block has a long history. It is thought that its origins began in the mid to late 1800s with the Native American 8-point star. The block pattern was first seen published in 1935. The Hunter Star block we recognize was named in an Aunt Martha Book in 1960. This is such a versatile block, able to make countless designs. You will learn how to use the Studio 180 Petite Hunter Star ruler to create the Hunter Star block The sample quilt is found in the book Hunter's Star Hidden Treasures by Deb Tucker. This book offers 36 different quilt patterns all made from the same 7" block. You can make any one of the designs. It's all the same block!
