Thank you for taking part in our "soft" opening! What a great time we have had already. Thank you. We are so happy to have started, together with you on our Wilmington adventure.
Our Grand Opening will be in early 2021 -- depending upon, of course, when we can safely have (COVID-19....) groups in the store at one time. During the Soft Opening and the limitations necessarily and importantly in place we will work together, with you, to keep each other as safe as possible while also growing as a "store" and assisting you with your quilting, embroidery, machine projects and challenges. An exciting time: That, is for certain.
On we go!

I know many of you Wilmington customers are embroidery fans/experts. I will be curious how many of you are BERNINA Toolbox users. In any case - Are you headed down the path - or,
You are thinking about heading down the path - or:
You have been down the path in the past and did not continue the path for some reason - Of:
Let's try the BERNINA Toolbox soon. Priced right, with a free 30-day trial available: Now.
What The Example Worked With - If interested-in, See Pointer-to, below.
For this example, I digitized one design, using three approaches:
Digitize the original 10"-wide design.
Modify the original 10"-wide design to be a 2 1/2" wide design - and, digitize the 2 1/2"-wide design.
"Break" the 2 1/2"-wide design into three separate parts (in my case: "Top", "Middle" and "Bottom" non-text parts of the design and, then, digitize those three parts.
Work firstly with the design in full-size as was in the original JPG. Use Toolbox to add some text to the design and to prepare the embroidery design to be "easily" (stitch color order, etc.) stitched from a user's point of view.
Determine a good approach for making the large-size design 75% smaller. Again, use Toolbox, this time involving use of Toolbox text support; investigating individual letter separation, "font"/alphabet, etc.
Finally, again using Toolbox support, make the design acceptable for embroidering onto a shirt.
